You probably saw the alarm clock that was recently posted that requires you to finger dance to get it shut off. For the chipper musical loving crowd, that’ll work out great. However, getting to wake up in the morning and shoot something seems far more therapeutic. Clearly more healthy too. Well with this alarm clock an alien will pop out of his egg at the time the alarm is set to go off. At which point he lets out a shrieking laugh and his creepy red eyes begin to flash. In order to stop his ridiculous laughter you have to grab your gun and shoot him. Sounds like a great way to start the day if you ask me. You can purchase him for £19.99 or about $33.

If you know someone who doesn't get out of bed very well (like me), then this'll be perfect to awaken them bright and early.Once the pin leaves the grenade, simply through it in to their room and the Sonic Grenade emits an ear-piecing noise which will surely make them jump out of their skin and out of bed (quite literally!)The problem now, is that only the person holding the pin can deactivate the noise, so whoever's holding the pin - run for you're life - as your victim is now hungry for you to stop that damn noise!Great fun at parties too, especially if you're the biggest party-goer there - the one that stays awake all night? Why not make everyone else join you!

As with Henry Ford, this is available in any colour as long as it is black the Digital Clock T-Shirt has an electro-luminescent panel on the front that displays the current time in glowing green numbers. And if the static display doesn’t fit your style you can select up to 8 different flashing patterns or even switch it to a stopwatch mode. The shirt is powered by 4 AAA batteries which are held in a pocket inside the shirt and will last between 12-36 hours depending on the flashing mode selected. The shirt is hand-wash only (No surprise there then)!!!!!!!

It can safely be said that virtually every kid you know these days have grown up watching at least one of the six Star Wars movies, and chances are pretty good they’ve seen them all many times. Well, not everyone is going to grow up to be part of the Jedi, as these younglings aren’t too young to figure out that the Dark Side of the Force seems to hold a whole lot of promise and power. Well, here’s the TIE Fighter playhouse that ought to give your little ones plenty of fun imagining that they’re Darth Vader, shooting down Red One in the Death Star trench run. Sounds like £44.99 well spent for the upcoming summer.

If you are dealing with having a desk in an area that you have to share the air conditioning, you’ve probably had the fight over the temperature. Everyone has their ideal point, whether you prefer things really cold, at an average temperature or just can’t handle the cold. Well if you’re one that is never quite cool enough at your desk, you could probably use something extra to cool things down. This fan may not be very big, but it could take the edge off enough to make things a little more tolerable. Not only does this small white USB gadget have a fan, but it includes a clock and a thermometer. Which also lets you be more specific when you’re complaining that things are getting way too hot. The fan itself has a speed control switch. Unfortunately for those in the US, it actually displays things in Celsius. The clock can be set to either 12 or 24 hour mode. You can purchase the fan for $15

Have designers run out of ways to make the USB flash drive a desirable piece of peripheral for your computer? Well, apparently not. Remember those rendered cigars of Sarge in Quake III and the cut-scene in Star Craft? Well, here’s something that will definitely make your desktop much cooler sans smoke - the USB Cigar flash memory. It won’t harm your lungs one bit, and will actually glow red when connected, getting brighter whenever you access it. Woe to you if someone uninformed stumbles into the room when you’re not around only to panic and splash water on your computer for mistaking it for an actual, burning cigar that has been left unattended.

The Ideal Valentine's Day GiftStaying healthy is the key to keeping yourself alive. Video game characters know this all too well. When your red heart gauge reaches zero... you die. For non-bitmap humans like you this is more of a challenge. But luckily after extensive study at ThinkGeek labs we've determined that people feel best when they are in close proximity to something that they adore. Don't understand? Well luckily for you we've created this amazing 8-Bit Dynamic Life Shirt to illustrate.
Buy one of these glowing shirts for yourself, and gift
one to your significant other (boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, fembot 2000...). During your normal activities two and a half pixelated hearts will light up on your shirt. Hey... you're depressed and in need of a recharge. But get within hugging distance of your significant other wearing the matching shirt and suddenly the hearts on both of your shirts start to light up until you're fully powered up. Go too far astray from the source of your affections and you'll drop back down to two and a half hearts again. Got it? Philips Aurea

It has a built-in sound card along with a tiny speaker. It’s not going to have fantastic sound, but when you don’t have a sound card, things can get fairly desperate. This would be a nice and affordable temporary fix for the issue. That or if you’re not really worried about it, it could be a permanent fix.

The Glastonbury Solar Concept Tent definitely qualifies as Coolest Gadgets material, as it has more gadgets on it than MacGyver’s knife. The U.K. company Orange has called the Glastonbury as “the tent of the future”, but this is one that I want to take “out on the rough” right now.
The tent has photovoltaic fabric, specially coated solar threads woven into the fabric. It can capture the rays of the sun and use them for some juice later. Yes, you don’t worry about your GPS or mobile phone going dead on your next camping trip. Not only that, the tent has a wireless control hub that keeps track of the energy generated and consumed. This hub has an LCD screen and even has a wireless Internet signal.

T-Mobile has announced that they will be offering a new Android-powered handset in due time to oust the aged G1 smartphone, and this time round it would be the T-Mobile myTouch 3G that will be taking over the baton. Just in case you were wondering the myTouch 3G is also known as the HTC Magic in other parts of the world, and the smartphone will come packaged in a sleek body alongside a contoured feel, boasting a wide range of new features which will surely make it a success compared to its rather muted predecessor. Alongside a full touchscreen display, you also get a virtual keyboard that helps you whip out text messages as well as emails in double quick time without getting bogged down by typos.

Sure, digital cameras are very common, and unless some company has a camera that really stands out in some way, there is very little that distinguishes one digital camera from the other.
I suppose the “standout” feature on Pentax’s Optio W80 is that is one bad mother…shut my mouth! I’m just talking about the Optio W80! Then you should dig it, because the W80 is “shockproof”.
How shockproof? Well, this 12 Megapixel camera can withstand a drop of 3.3 feet, and can go underwater for 16 feet for up to two hours. It can also work in temperatures as low as 14 degrees Fahrenheit.
Other specs include a 5x internal lens and it is a wide angle at 28mm. And since no digital camera can just shoot stills these days, the W80 is no exception as it records 720p at 30 frames per second. It also features face, smile, and blink detection, as well as auto scene recognition. The Optical image stabilization is Pentax’s digital Pixel Track SR. Very nice.
The Pentax Optio W80 should be available in July for about $300 in colors of Cardinal Red, Azure Blue, and Gunmetal Gray. The company is also offering a custom designed protective skin for $16.95 and a floating wrist strap for $19.95.

This is now at the top of the list of my favorite combination gadgets. Not only does it make an adorable USB hub, but the propeller also doubles as a fan. All of the devices worked into the plane just look like a normal part of it. Instead of the ports looking out of place, they look like they belong there. Plus when your office is getting just a little too hot you can flip on the propellers and cool yourself off.
As you can probably already see, there are 4 different ports for your various USB devices. The fan itself has an on/off switch and features soft blades for safety reasons. When you actually plug it into your computer’s USB port it will for 5 seconds make a flying-off sound effect. Just be forewarned, if you play the video on the seller’s website that demonstrates the sound effect, make sure your volume is turned down. The plane comes in the white you see here or you can pick it up in silver instead. You can purchase it for $14.

If you’re not fond of the cases that although do protect your iPod in the shower, it still requires that your iPod be near water, you might like this wireless idea. With this you can have your music playing in the shower, all the while your iPod is tucked safely away somewhere nice and dry. Plus for the guys there’s a fogless mirror so you can shave in the shower. Just mount it to the shower wall and you’ll have an endless supply of music, well at least until the batteries die.
In addition to being able to play music from your iPod, it also has an FM radio. Which offers you a little more versatility if your iPod doesn’t have enough music on it for your tastes. While you’re in the shower you can also keep track of the time since there is an LCD clock. One down side is that having this in the bathroom means anyone can have music in the shower. Even those that sing painfully off key. You can purchase the Wireless Bathroom Speaker for £24.95 or about $40.

Remember Art Lebedev’s OLED keyboard that worked, albeit costing much more than what most of us are willing to pay for a fancy peripheral? Well, here’s something similar albeit going for much less with a less impressive feature set, where only the numeric keys will feature OLED capability, while the rest of the keys are pretty much your run-of-the-mill stuff. Known as the OCZ Sabre, it comes with a layered shortcut system and blue LED sidelighting to make up for its shortcomings. While we do know that the Sabre is more than ready to ship, there is no word on a price tag just yet.ColorWare takes in iPhone 3GS as well

ColorWare is a company that has long made a name for itself when it comes to making your favorite gadgets different from what commoners own. For example, instead of the usual black or white iPhone, why not let ColorWare splash a shade of your choice to stand out from the rest of the crowd? Apart from solid colors, you can choose from metallic colors as well. Owners of the new iPhone 3GS can also get their handsets done up by ColorWare at the moment, although ColorWare themselves won’t be offering the iPhone 3GS at this moment. Depending on your budget, you can just change the back-plate of the handset for $150, although there is the option to throw in another $20 and change the bezel frame and button or $15 each for the SIM holder as well as earbuds.Introduction to IT(Information Technology)

Information technology (IT), as defined by the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), is "the study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware."IT deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and securely retrieve information.
Today, the term information technology has ballooned to encompass many aspects of computing and technology, and the term has become very recognizable. The information technology umbrella can be quite large, covering many fields. IT professionals perform a variety of duties that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases. A few of the duties that IT professionals perform may include data management, networking, engineering computer hardware, database and software design, as well as the management and administration of entire systems.
When computer and communications technologies are combined, the result is information technology, or "infotech". Information technology is a general term that describes any technology that helps to produce, manipulate, store, communicate, and/or disseminate information. Presumably, when speaking of Information Technology (IT) as a whole, it is noted that the use of computers and information are associated.
